Todxs somos forasterxs, venimos y vamos de un lugar a otro, aprendemos a soltar y adoptamos nuevas tendencias, nuevo estilo de vida, nuevas experiencias. Soy Nika y soy fundadora de HOLA FORASTERA. Mi educación principal es en Diseño de Modas, desde siempre he amado todos los aspectos de creación y desarrollo creativo. Comencé en el año 2017  con mi primera linea llamada Hello Asymmetry , me especializaba en la  elaboración de joyería a mano en arcilla polimerica. Esta fue una fase experimental y de crecimiento muy bonita que gracias al apoyo de mi gente puertorriqueña y extranjeros pudo crecer y llegar a lo que es hoy en día HOLA FORASTERA. 

Qué me inspira? Me inspira los colores, lo cotidiano, la arquitectura, el movimiento de los objetos, la asimetría, lo perfecto imperfecto, pero lo que más me inspira son las personas y como a través de la joyería pueden expresar su estilo y personalidad llevando consigo pequeñas obras de arte para combinar con sus atuendos favoritos.

Soy diseñadora de joyas y  accesorios. Soy un alma libre, vengo y voy de un lado a otro, me gusta la naturaleza, explorar y experimental con nuevos proyectos y materiales inusuales. Para mí cada atuendo y pieza de joyería cuenta una historia, tienen su propio lenguaje, y a través de ella expreso mi emoción y personalidad. HOLA FORASTERA es una parte de mi esencia y personalidad. Amo crear piezas únicas y especiales para que ustedes lleven pequeñas obras de arte consigo en su diario y que haga un MATCH perfecto con sus atuendos favoritos. En mi trabajo se ve influenciado la combinación de colores vibrante, neutrales y suave explorando patrones audaces y combinaciones de colores logrando armonía entre ellos.  Experimento con materiales inusuales y juego con texturas. Todas las piezas de HOLA FORASTERA están diseñadas y elaboradas a mano individualmente por mí desde mi estudio en el hogar.  

HOLA FORASTERA tiene como meta trabajar mano a mano con diseñadores locales por medio de colaboraciones, expandir dentro de Puerto Rico e internacionalmente. Los productos pueden encontrarlos en Museo MADMI ( San Juan, P.R.), Chroma: Local Design Shop (Mall of San Juan, P.R.), Electroshock ( Calle Loíza, Santurce, P.R.), Aguja Local (boutique online) y Zaré (Hong Kong). Internacionalmente he tenido la oportunidad de vender mis piezas en Singapore y Hong Kong.

We are all foreigners, we come and go from one place to another, we learn to let go and we adopt new trends, new lifestyles, new experiences. I am Nika and I am the founder of HOLA FORASTERA. My main education is in Fashion Design, I have always loved all aspects of creation and creative development. I started in 2017 with my first line called Hello Asymmetry, I specialized in making jewelry by hand in polymer clay. This was a very nice experimental and growth phase that thanks to the support of my Puerto Rican people and foreigners I was able to grow and reach what HOLA FORASTERA is today.

What inspires me? I am inspired by the colors, the everyday, the architecture, the movement of objects, the asymmetry, the imperfect perfect, but what inspires me the most are the people and how they can express their style and personality through jewelry carrying small works of art to match your favorite outfits.

I am a jewelry and accessories designer. I am a free soul, I come and go from one side to another, I like nature, explore and experiment with new projects and unusual materials. For me, each outfit and piece of jewelry tells a story, they have their own language, and through it I express my emotion and personality. HELLO FORASTERA is a part of my essence and personality. I love creating unique and special pieces for you to carry little works of art with you in your journal and to make a perfect MATCH with your favorite outfits. In my work the vibrant, neutral and soft color scheme is influenced by exploring bold patterns and color schemes achieving harmony between them. I experiment with unusual materials and play with textures. All HOLA FORASTERA pieces are individually designed and handcrafted by me from my home studio.

HOLA FORASTERA has the goal of working hand in hand with local designers through collaborations, expanding within Puerto Rico and internationally. Products can be found at Museo MADMI (San Juan, PR), Chroma: Local Design Shop (Mall of San Juan, PR), Electroshock (Calle Loíza, Santurce, PR), Aguja Local (online boutique) and Zaré (Hong Kong) .
